Low, trailing or climbing shrub, without tendrils. Leaves 1-2-ternate, or pinnate; leaflets incised-dentate, glabrous. Flowers 4-merous, green. Berry blueblack when ripe, c. 5 mm diam. Fl. 6-8. Rocky limestone places, and in the rocky deciduous forest, 50-1800 m.
