Slender annual or perennial. Stems simple or branched, pilose or villous, simple or branched. Leaves shortly-piiose, mostly ovate-hastate to ovate-lanceolate-sagittate; petiole 1-5 mm. Pedicels filiform, patent, glabrous, 10-30 mm. Calyx lobes narrowly lanceolate, finely pointed, scarious-margined, hispidulous, 1,5-3 mm in flower, not elongating in fruit. Corolla 4-9 mm, whitish, upper lip sometimes lilac, lower lip lilac with dark violet palate; spur 6-7 mm, ± curved. Capsule 2-2·5 mm, thick-walled. Seeds 0,75-1 mm, prominently and closely tuberculate. Fl. 5-8. Limestone rocks, phrygana, fallow fields,· waste places, beaches, s.I.-300 m.
