Perennial herbaceous geophytes. Tuber 1.3-2.3 × 1-2 cm, globose to ovate-oblong. Stem 12- -30 cm in height, erect to suberect, 1--4 branched near the base, glabrous, clear green. Petiole 1-6 cm. Leaves 5-12 × 8-15 cm, bi-ternate, clear green; leaflets 3.5--11 cm long ; seconder leaflets flabellate, clef into 3--7 oblong to ovate lobes; lobes mostly ending with a mucro; central leaflets of seconder leaflets 2.3-5 × 1.1-2.5 cm, equal or subequally lobed; lobes clef to the 1/5 of lamina; lateral leaflets of seconder leaflets 1.5-4 × 1-3.3, mostly unequally lobed, lamina divided 1/2 to near to the base. Inflorescence raceme, 5-12 flowered, raceme lax. Bracts entire, ovate to orbicular, acute or obtuse at apex, semiamplexicaule, green; lower bracts 6-20 × 4-11 mm; upper bracts 4-8 × 2-4 mm. Pedicel elongate in fruiting time; lower pedicels 4–6.5 mm long in flowering time, mostly shorter or sometimes equal to bracts, 8-16 mm in fruiting time, longer, equal or shorter than bracts; upper pedicels 2-3 mm at flowering time, always shorter than bracts, 6-10 mm at fruiting time, consistently longer than bracts. Sepal absent. Corolla connected part 4-7 mm long; upper petal 6-7 × 6-4 mm, emarginate, whitish to very pale pinkish; inner petal 5--7 mm long, internally purplish tipped at the inside surface; lower petal 10-13 × 3-5 mm, emarginate, whitish to very pale pinkish. Spur 8.5--11 mm long; straight; nectary 5-7 mm long, at least half as long as spur. Pistil 6.5– 12 mm long; ovary 3-7 × 1 mm, elliptic-linear, green; style 2.5-4 mm long, green; stigma ca. 1 mm long, green. Stamen 2-merous; filament 7-10 mm long, white; anther 0.5-0.7 mm, bright yellow; pollen grains creamy. Capsule 13-20 × 2-2.5 mm, 3--6 seeded, oblong, oblong-elliptic, sometimes oblanceolate; valves green; beak 1.5-2 mm long with 2-4 mm long style. Seeds ca. 2-2.5 mm long, ovate, smooth, shiny black, with ± spirally twisted elaiosome.
