Unbranched, rarely shortly branched, 7-12 cm. Spike dense, usually short and few-flowered. Bracts and calyx greyish-tomentose. Calyx teeth lanceolate, shorter than or rarely equalling calyx tube. Corolla pale lavender, 20-25 mm, erecto-patent, rarely slightly inclined, abundantly glandular-pilose. Fl. 5-7. Alt. 250-1750 m.
