Branched or unbranched, 15-50 cm. Flowers erecto-patent, Calyx teeth entire, equalling or longer than calyx tube, lanceolate-subulate or filiform from a broad base. Corolla lavender-blue or lilac, rarely dirty white, 20-37 mm. Anthers long lanate-hairy. Fl. 5-7. Mostly in fields of Gossypium herbaceum, Solanum melongena, Cucumis sativus and Brassica, s.l.-3100 m.
S.W. Asia from Egypt, Crimea and Caucasus to Transcaspia and Himalaya.
