Erect perennial perennating by elongate epigeal stolons; stems 30-60 cm, with 4 raised lines, glabrous below, adpressed hairy above. Leaves 3-7 x 0,8-1,7 cm, distantly serrate, glabrous or with hairy margins and veins, sessile with a rounded base, decurrent. Inflorescence with some glandular hairs, especially on the calyx and ovary. Flowers deep rose; petals 5-6 mm; stigma entire. Capsule 4-6 cm; seeds obovoid, c. 1 mm, papillose.
