Like L spuria subsp. musulmanica but flowers white with a large yellow signal patch in centre of falls; lamina of falls usually shorter than claw, 2.5-3.5 x 1.8-2 cm, claw usually unwinged, ± parallel-sided, 3-4 x 0.5-0.8 cm; ovary with a beak 2-3 cm; capsules 3-4 cm with a beak 2-2.5 cm. Fl. 5-6. Damp meadows, irrigation channels and marshes, 150-1400 m.
