Straggling shrublet. Stems 5-25 cm, sometimes with a few black glands. Leaves paired, 3-25 mm, usually oblong or elliptic to obovate or oblanceolate, with a few intramarginal and/or superficial black glands. Flowers 1, terminal and axillary. Sepals 3-5 mm, obovate to linear, acute or rounded, entire or with marginal black glands and usually a few superficial ones. Petals 6-12 mm, usually with a few superficial black or reddish glands. Anthers with a black gland. Capsule 4-5 mm, ovoid. Fl. 5-8. Limestone rocks, 50-1700 m.
