Stems 3-10 cm, erect to decumbent, branching at the base, glabrous, with prominent amber glands and rarely a few black dots towards the base. Leaves 1-4,5 mm, the upper larger, ovate to elliptic, cuneate, the lower broadly ovate, cordate-amplexicaul, all densely imbricate, subcoriaceous, with prominent pale glands, the upper with intramarginal and sometimes superficial black glands. Flowers solitary or 2-5 in capitate corymbs. Sepals oblong, rounded, glandular-ciliate, with numerous superficial black glands, glabrous. Petals c. 7-8 mm, with a few intramarginal and superficial black glands. Capsule c. 3mm, with numerous interrupted longitudinal vittae. Fl. 8. On rocks, 2100 m.
