Lower and middle leaves trifoliolate, upper leaves unifoliolate; leaflets acutely denticulate-serrate, oblong to linear, 5-13 x 1-5 mm. Flowers sessile or subsessile, forming dense oblong terminal racemes. Calyx campanulate, 4-7 mm; lobes lanceolate-subulate, 3-5-nerved; 3-4 times longer than tube. Corolla pink, 5-7 mm, standard glandular-hairy, sometimes red-suffused. Legume ovate, glandular-pubescent, 4-6 x 3-4 rom, 2-6-ovulate. Seeds with very fine obtuse tubercles, broadly elliptic to suborbicular, 1,5 mm. Fl. 4-5. Dry gravelly places, maritime sands, near s.l.
