Patently long-pilose perennial , with stems up to 1 m. Leaflets 1,4-2 x 0,6-1,2 cm, lanceolate-ovate to obovate, apiculate, those of lower pair usually only slightly smaller, with an elongate rachis between them and the upper leaflets. Umbels 2-5-flowered; on peduncle 3-4 or more times longer than subtending leaves. Bracts usually longer than calyx. Flowers 8-9 mm. Calyx subcampanulate, teeth about as long as the tube. Corolla yellow, about ½  longer than calyx; standard and wings about equal to the arched keel; beak of keel with a short, slightly incurved tip. Legume 17-23 x 1,5-2 mm, straight, terete. 2n=12. Fl. 6-10. On marshy, often saline soils, and by rivulets, s.l-2000 m.
