Caespitose, glabrous perennial. Stems erect, c.25 cm. Leaves dimorphic, the basal obovate to broadly elliptic, fleshy, the cauline very reduced, linear to lanceolate. Inflorescence racemose, few-flowered. Calyx 12-16 mm. Petal limb divided to beyond the middle into oblong lobes. Anthophore 6-7 mm. Capsule 7-8 x 4 mm, included in the calyx.FI. 9.
