Perennial, glabrous below, glandular-hairy abave, stock woody, stems numerous, 10-40 cm. Leaves coriaceous, scabrous, triquetrous, linear, acute, 5-25 x 1 mm. Pedicels 3-10 mm, glandular-hairy. Calyx glandular-hairy, 3-4 mm, campanulate, teeth ovate, apiculate. Petals white to pink, cuneate, 4-5 mm. Seeds with minute subacute tubercles. Fl. 6-8. Rocky slopes, 1000-2500 m.
