Slender, densely glandular-pubescent annual, 4-10 cm. Basal leaves spathulate, withering at anthesis; remainder linear-subulate, flaccid, 1-veined. Inflorescence 3-40-flowered; bracts foliaceous, the upper subulate; pedicels 5-15 mm, often spreading or deflexed in fruit. Sepals 2,5-3 mm, ovate, acuminate, prominently 3-veined. Petals oblong, 1,5-2 x longer than sepals. Stamens minute, filaments less than 0,75 mm. Capsule subglobose, rarely exceeding calyx. Seeds 0,3-0,5 mm, minutely tuberculate; tubercles papillose. FI. 5. Limestone rocks, 600-1200 m.
Endemic. Related to A. kurdica McNeili from N. Iraq, and A. pamphylica. Superficially resembling species of Minuartia Sect. Sabulina, especially M. mesogitana. Ir.-Tur. element.
