Glabrous perennial with a creeping rhizome and unbranched flowering stems. Basal leaf petioles up to 18 cm long, upper leaves ovate, shortly petiolate. Inflorescence short. Petals white, c. 8 x 4 mm. Fruiting pedicel 9-19 mm, horizontally spreading. Fruit very broadly obcordate, rounded at base, 8-13 x 12-17 mm; septum 8 x 4-5 mm thick; wings thin, veined. FI. 4-5. Euxine forests, s.l.-1900 m.
