Perennial 30-100 cm, with a much branched inflorescence and large irregularly pinnate leaves covered with at least some long white eglandular hairs, rarely glabrous. Upper leaves much smaller, shortly petiolate more or less pinnate, uppermost entire. Petals slightly longer than broad. Fruiting pedicels 10-15 mm. Fruit 5 x 5,5-6 mm; basal portion 1 mm. Fl. 4-6. Steppic habitats: stony slopes, fallow fields, 900-1400 m.
