Semi-shrub up to 20 cm, flowering stems simple or branched, glabrous, ± glaucous. Leaves c. 2 cm, ovate-lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, acute, subpetiolate or sessile, 1-nerved, margin entire, subcartilaginous. Petals white or pale lilac, 6-9 x 1,5-4 mm. Filaments neither connate nor toothed, dilated at base; anthers apiculate. Ovary 2-locular with 1 ovule, rarely 2, in each loculus. Fruiting pedicels recurved, 5-8 mm. Siliculae broadly ovate, retuse at apex and base, 7-9 x 6-8 mm; septum 4-6 x 2-2,5 mm, oblique; wings 1,5-3 mm, lacerate-dentate or subentire; sinus up to 1 mm; style 2-3 mm. Seeds 2, papillose, not mucilaginous, radicle incumbent. FI. 4-6. Screes and stony slopes, 1500-1800 m.
