Stems 20-70 cm tall. Radical leaves with 9 ovate leaflets, deeply cordate at base, usually not exceeding 8 cm, with sparsely serrate margins. Cauline leaves 1-2, resembling the radical leaves but often with more or less articulate hairs. Inflorescence laxly branched, very glandular-hirsute. Flowers 8-12 mm across. Outer sepals pink, inner sepals white and longer than the yellow slipper-like nectariferous petals. Fl. 4-5.
Bulgaria and Adzharya. Euxine element.
