Plant 3-5 cm, densely hairy at base. Leaves fleshy, glabrous, narrowly spathulate, with a scarious, triangular tip at apex, non-dentate or with small teeth near apex. Scapes hairy. Involucre cylindrical with short ± adpressed outer phyllaries. Flowers not numerous, white. Achenes 5-5.5 mm, pale brown, ±non-rugose; beak ±absent; pappus 5-6 mm. Alt. 800-1300 m.
