Like H. nervosa but perianth usually smaller, 5-6 mm, with lobes nearly as long as tube and anther apices only reaching slightly above base of lobes. 2n =22. FI. 3. Shady, fairly barren soil, 1100-1700 m.
Endemic. Ir.-Tur. element. Closely related to H. nervosa.
