Distinguished from A. guichardii by the shape of its larger perianth limb which is oblong, 1.8-2 cm long, 0.8-1 cm broad, shortly auriculate at base , and subemarginate at apex. On the limited material available, the leaves are slightly longer than broad. Rootstock unknown. Fl. 3-4. Alt. 550 m.
