Stem terete, striate, solid, 6-40 cm. Lower leaves narrow-oblong to narrow-elliptic, 3-18 x 0,5-3 cm, with up to 18 pairs of leaflets, leaflets ovate, dentate to deeply incised, margin cartilaginous, scabrid, each tooth aristate. Umbels globose, c. 9-18 mm diam. Rays numerous, 1-2 mm. Bracts 8-10. Bracteoles c. 4, similar to bracts. Sepals connate at base, persistent in fruit, 2-4 mm. Fruit c. 1,5 mm. Fl. 4-6. Roadsides, dry field and hillsides, Quercus Amygdalus scrub, s.l.-1100 m.
