Glabrous perennial. Stem terete, weakly sulcate, 100-150 cm. Leaves 5-6-pinnate, triangular-ovate in outline, 30-45 x 25-35 cm, glaucous, glabrous; ultimate segments shortly linear, 1.5-3 x 0-4 mm, flat or ± involute. Sheath strongly inflated, coriaceous, amplexicaul. Inflorescence paniculate-corymbose; central umbels shortly peduncled , rays 10-15, 1,5-4 cm; umbellules 8-15-flowered, fruiting pedicels thin, 4-6 mm. Lateral umbels long-peduncled, usually fertile. Bracteoles absent. Petals whitish-green . Mericarps elliptic-oblong, 10-13 x 6-7 mm, dorsal ridges filiform, lateral wings 1-1,5 mm wide; dorsal vittae solitary per vallecula, commissural 4. Fl. 7. Field borders, rocky slopes, c. 1000 m.
