Annual, 30-90 cm, erect, with striate stem and many, usually long, branches. Cauline leaves 3-10 cm long, 2-4 mm broad, with marked midrib. Rays 2, markedly unequal, 0,2-20 mm. Bracts 3, 2-5 mm. Bracteoles 4, ± narrowly ovate, serrulate, keeled, 2-4 mmlong, 0,6-0,8 mm broad. Umbellules 1-5-flowered. Petals yellowish-purple, 0,6-0,7 mm, serrulate at margins and intensely and irregularly papillate especially at bend, vein at petal bend elevated and papillate-rugulose. Inflexed lobe broad, long. Anthers 0,3-0,4 mm. Stylopodium 0,6-0,7 mm broad, styles 0,2 mm. Fruit c. 3 mm, rounded, smooth, finely rugulose at upper margin, ridges filiform. Fl. 6-7. Forest, scrub, vineyards, 500-1100 m.
