Bulb narrowly ovoid, c. 1 mm diam.; outer tunics coriaceous, finally breaking into parallel fibres. Stem 10-35 cm. Leaves 3-5, filiform, 1 mm broad, slightly canaticulate, sheathing stem almost up to umbel. Spathe 1-valved, 2-4 cm, erect, persistent. Umbel fastigiate, 1.5 cm diam. Pedicels 7-25 mm, very unequal. Perianth cup-shaped or infundibular; segments pink with brown or reddish midvein, with dark reddish raised dots in upper part, oblanceolate, 5-7 mm, truncate. Stamens included or slightly exserted. Capsule broadly obcordate, 4-4.5 mm. Fl. 9-10. Rocky slopes, 450-550 m.
