Sin: Solanum villosum
Annual, villous with patent glandular and eglandular hairs, usually yellowish green when dried.  Stem erect, branched, angled. Leaves ovate to ovate-rhombic, lamina to 7 x 5 cm, usually sinuate-dentate, cuneate at base, decurrent into petiole:, Cymes racemose, 1--flowered, peduncles 5-20 mm, equalling ,or exceeding fruiting pedicels. Calyx 2 mm, lobes oblong with rounded angles between them. Corolla pink, 4-5 mm, lobes pilose outside. Berry yellow to orange, 6-8 mm. Fl. 4-8. Edge of Fagus-Abies forests, was,te places, 250-900 m.
C. & S. Europe, SW Asia to Pakistan and Transcaspia.
