Plant widely branched, 10-30 cm, usually densely covered with spreading, yellow, glandular hairs, rarely glabrescent below the pedicels. Leaf laciniae oblong-lanceolate. Bracts laciniate. Bracteoles linear, small. Flowers in loose racemes, violet-blue or lilac, 20-26 mm. Spur a little longer than the included corolla. Corolla 3-lobed, lateral lobes ± truncate at the tips, curved slightly upwards. Follicles oblong, hirsute, long-rostrate, borne on deflexed or recurved pedicels. Fl. 5-7. Rocky hills, fields, vineyards, 600-1400 m.
