Rhizome creeping. Frond 40-60 cm, 1-pinnate, the lowermost pinna at least once divided, petiole as long as blade and up to twice as long. Pinnae narrowly lanceolate to ± linear. Sterile pinnae 1-1,5 cm broad, margin rather coarsely serrate; fertile pinnae usually less than 0,5 cm broad, margin entire. Sori continuous along margin; indusium elongate, attached to margin of pinna. Spores ripe 6-8. On moist banks in heavy shade. s.I.-700 m.
