Glabrous shrub with pale brownish-whitish bark, 1 m. Branching wide-angled. Perianth segments white, 3-4 mm. Pedicels jointed at or about the middle. Fruits oblong, covered with stiff bristles, which arise from the tuberculate base's, and are branched and intertwined in the upper part. FI. 8. Sandy soils.
