Annual herb. Stems ascending-erect, flexuous, villosulous below. Lower leaves pinnate, the segments narrowly oblong, obscurely toothed; upper leaves with entire linear or linear-lanceolate segments. Buds ovoid to narrowly ovoid. Petals deep pink to scarlet, with a small black blotch at the base. Capsules very narrow, tubular-clavate to tubular-oblong, the disc acutely pyramidal to umbonate. Fl. 5. Slopes, screes, fields, 600-1250 m.
Endemic; close to P. stylatum.
