Differs from G. flavum in its acutely dentate stem leaves, ovary and fruit papillose near the apex only, the fruit more or less torulose, attenuate at the apex. Fl. 6-7. Hillsides, stony fields, 15-1600 m.
Doubtfully recorded from Greece, Crete, N. Iran, Syria & the Caucasus.
