Slender annual, sparingly adpressed-hairy, 15-80 cm, climbing. Leaflets 6-10-paired, 5-30 x 0,5-3 mm, narrowly linear to narrowly oblanceolate, acute to obtuse; stipules minute, semi-hastate; tendrils frequently branched. Peduncle about ½ as long as leaf, 3-8-flowered. Pedicels 1-1,5 mm. Flowers 5-7 mm. Calyx c. 2 mm, hardly gibbous, with an obscurely oblique mouth, somewhat hairy; teeth slightly shorter than tube, lanceolate-triangular. Limb of standard lilac-blue, with claw shorter than limb; wings whitish-blue. Style laterally subcompressed. Legume rhomboid-ellipsoid or rhomboid-oblong, 17-24 x4-8 mm, subtorulose, glabrous. Seeds 1-4; hilum 1/6-1/7 of the perimeter. Fl. 3-5. Rocky slopes, Quercus aegilops forest, grassy steppe, s.l-1000 m.
