Erect, non-spiny shrub, 15-100 cm, with subopposite, flexuous, virgate branches arising mainly from near the base. Leaves 3-foliolate, subsessile; leaflets 5-25 x 1-2 mm, very narrowly oblanceolate, usually inrolled, adpressed hairy beneath, glabrous above. Flowers alternate or subopposite, usually in lax racemes. Lowermost bracts foliaceous, uppermost reduced; pedicels 1 mm or less; bracteoles minute. Calyx 3,5-5 mm, shortly sericeous. Standard 7-11 mm, deltate or triangular, sericeous, 1/2-2/3 as long as the keel; wings not more than 2/3 as long as the keel. Legume 7-10 mm, ovoid-acuminate, adpressed hairy, 1-seeded. Fl. 5-6. Dry eroded slopes, cultivated fields and vineyards, 500-1240 m.
