Tall caulescent perennial. Leaves 12-20 cm; leaflets 25-30 mm, narrowly elliptic, both surfaces sparsely adpressed-pilose, 20-30-paired; stipules 14-18 mm, narrowly triangular-Ianceolate, sparsely long-pilose. Inflorescence sessile, c. 3,5 cm in diam., globose, dense, with c.50 sessile flowers. Bracts linear, pilose. Bracteoles absent. Calyx c. 12 mm, tubular-campanulate, shortly pilose; teeth c. 4 mm, narrowly triangular. Flowers drying yellow; standard 16-18 mm.
Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Allied to A. ponticus but distinguished by the leaf indumentum, etc.
