Erect caulescent perennial with simple-white-pilose stems. Leaves 15-25 cm; leaflets 10-20 mm, ± orbicular to elliptic, obtuse or retuse, glabrous above, ± spreading simple-white-pilose below, 15-25-paired; stipules 12-20 mm, triangular- lanceolate. Flowers in lax 2-6-flowered racemes. Bracts 8-15 mm, linear. Bracteoles 3-4 mm, linear. Calyx 11-15 mm, tubular, long simple-white-pilose; teeth 4-8 mm. Corolla yellow, sometimes white; standard 26-35 mm, glabrous. Legumes 15-18 x 11-14 mm, ovoid, compressed or ± so, deeply rugose, long simple-white-pilose; beak 4-8 mm, straight.Fl. 3-7.Steppe,fields, roadsides, 1000-1600 m.
