Minute glabrous erect annual; stems usually simple, 5-12 cm. Leaves linear, semi-terete, 4-10 mm, sessile, alternate. Inflorescence a lax 2-4-branched cyme, each branch 8-20-flowered. Flowers 3-5-merous, sessile; sepals c. 0·5 mm, blunt; petals pinkish-white, c. 1 mm; follicles 1-1,5 mm, angular-prismatic, tubercularpunctate, free. FI. 4-5. Rocky limestone hills, etc., c. 100 m upwards.
