Glabrous perennial with ascending stems 5-30 cm. Leaves obovate-oblong, c. 8 x 3 mm, plane or semi-terete, entire, alternate or opposite. Inflorescence a lax simple 5-15-flowered raceme. Flowers 5-merous, pedicellate; sepals c. 1,5 mm, ± acute; petals white sometimes suffused with pink, c. 3 mm; stamens 10; follicles glabrous, erect. Fl. 7-8. Rocky places, 1600-2400 m.
