Annual, divaricately branched herb, 6-12 cm, with a dense indumentum of glandular hairs covering the entire plant. Leaves up to 30 x 6 mm, linear-lanceolate, shortly petiolate or subsessile. Inflorescence condensed, many-flowered. Pedicels erect, 3-4 mm. Calyx 9-10 mm, narrowly oblong-cylindrical, with short acute teeth, thickly covered with long, capitate, glandular hairs. Petals rose or deep pink, linear, c. 11 mm, bifid or retuse. Capsule ovate-oblong, slightly longer than calyx. FI. 4-7. Rocky slopes and scrub, 800-1850 m.
