Like M. mesogitana but erect, often glandular-pubescent throughout; inflorescence usually densely glandular-pubescent, of several contracted dichasial clusters; pedicels 0,5-7 mm, at least the upper shorter than the calyx, erect; sepals 3-5 mm, linear-lanceolate, narrowly acute to acuminate; petals less than ½ as long as sepals, often absent; capsule cylindrical, shorter than calyx; seeds 0,4-0,6 mm. Fl. 2-6. Sandy places, often near the sea, s.l-600 m.
