Annual, stems 4-25 cm, glabrous above, ± puberulent below. Leaves linear, 5-25 x 0,5-3 mm. Inflorescence corymbose, paniculate, lax. Bracts linear, leafy. Pedicels capillary, 5-10mm. Calyx campanulate-turbinate, 2,5-4 mm, teeth short, obtuse. Petals cuneate, pink with darker veins, 4-7 mm. Seeds with flat tubercles. Fl. 5-7. Fields, roadsides, fallow field.
Mainly C. & E. Europe, Caucasia, Siberia. Euro-Sib. element.
