Perennial herb with long leafy columniform caudiculi, forming rounded tufts. Scapes very short, up to 1,5 cm, pubescent. Leaves soft, overlapping, linear-obovate, canescent with long, soft, white hairs. Petals yellow, up to 5 mm. Ovary with 16-32 ovules. Siliculae elliptic, acute, twice as long as broad. Fl. 6. Rocky places, 1750-3000 m.
Endemic; most resembling D. cappadocica.
