Lanate-pubescent and glandular annual. Stems erect or spreading, 10-30 cm, generally much branched. Lower leaves obovate, 1,5-2,5 x 0,6-1 cm, acute at apex; sessile, semi-amplexicaul and subauriculate at base, entire; upper leaves oblanceolate or elliptic, 5-10 x 1,5-3 mm. Capitula numerous, solitary at branch ends. Involucre 0,75-1 cm broad; phyllaries 4-5-seriate, densely pubescent; outer linear-oblanceolate, acute, 2,5 x0,3 mm, inner linear, acuminate, 3,5 mm. Ray flowers 1-seriate, ligules 1 x 0,3 mm. Disc flowers numerous; corollas 2 mm, lobes strongly glandular. Achenes ellipsoid, 4-5-angular, 1,25-1,5 mm. Inner pappus of 7-8 hairs, c. 1,5 mm. FI.7-8. River banks, marshes and fallow fields, s.l.-1250 m.
