Perennial, 30-100 cm. unbranched below or lower branches few and sterile. Basal leaves 2-pinnate, triangular-ovate in outline, c. 15 cm. with petiole; ultimate segments linear-lanceolate, up to 4 cm long. Umbels unequally 5-10 rayed. Ripe fruit 5-6x c 2.5 mm, oblong, exterior vittae forming the white, differantiated thickened border, the central part remaining green. Fl. 7 Gorges etc., 700-1700 m.
